First Double Winner: WARUBI UEFA Coach Makes History

TSG Hoffenheim Double Winner in German Football

TSG Hoffenheim’s U19 team has made history. After winning the DFB Cup, the team secured the German Championship with a 3–1 (1–1) victory over Borussia Dortmund in the final — completing a historic double. No U19 team had ever achieved this feat before.

It’s Hoffenheim’s second championship title from four finals, the first coming in 2014 under then-head coach and now Germany’s national team manager Julian Nagelsmann, with a 5–0 win over Hannover 96.

WARUBI UEFA Coach Makes History

Niklas Brauer, after completing his UEFA B License in Germany with WARUBI Sports and the German State FA TFV in 2021.

Congratulations to Niklas Brauer, who was instrumental in securing this historic double as the Assistant Coach of the Bundesliga Academy team.

Niklas has been part of the WARUBI network since 2020 and completed his UEFA B License with WARUBI and the German State FA TFV in 2021.

His quick rise through the ranks after the course demonstrates the potential of combining strong networking with learning from both German and international influences.

After his stint at Philadelphia Union Academy, Niklas followed his head coach Tobias Nubbemeyer to TSG Hoffenheim and helped complete the historic double in their first season together.
