Johannes' soccer career reads like a fairy tale to any college soccer player. Growing up in a 300 people village in Langenbach, Germany, he eventually made it to the metropolis New York City.
Our team interviewed the 2019 Assistant Coach of the Iona Gael’s Men’s Soccer Team, Michael Holzer from Germany. We were able to ask some specific questions regarding college soccer in the USA as well as what an ideal soccer recruit looks like for college coaches.
